La Guía para los afligidos y desobedientes es un proyecto que surgió de la colaboración de siete actores culturales en Colombia como respuesta a los episodios de protestas que se vivieron entre 2020 y 2021.
La GA&D se despliega en tres dimensiones: la editorial, la digital y la expositiva.
A Guide for the Afflicted and Defiant is a project that rises from the collaboration between seven cultural agents in Colombia as a response to the protests lived in 2020 and 2021.
GA&D unfolds in three modes: the editorial, the digital, and the exhibition space.
LA PUBLICACIÓN
THE PUBLICATION
Una caja contiene ocho carteles y un libro de ensayos que se complementan para formular una narración, aunque fragmentaria e imperfecta, de las vivencias de los últimos dos años del estallido social en Colombia. Cada uno de los carteles contiene instrucciones para una acción de protesta que fueron escritas por un colaborador y que pueden ser realizadas por el lector, si se anima. Los ensayos complementan, amplían, contextualizan estas prácticas, se construyen alrededor de conversaciones con los colaboradores y entretejen estos gestos con otros gestos, otras imágenes, otras historias.

A box contains eight posters and a book of essays that complement each other to formulate a narrative, albeit fragmentary and imperfect, of the experiences of the last two years of social unrest in Colombia. Each poster contains instructions for a protest action written by a collaborator, and they can be carried out by the reader, if they are so inclined. The essays complement, expand, contextualize these practices, are built around conversations with the collaborators of the project, and weave gestures together with other gestures, images, stories.

GA&D es una exposición ambulante, que cabe en una maleta, en una caja de FedEx, y que responde a la necesidad de hablar de esta experiencia colectiva a un público nuevo, en un país que no es el nuestro, en un idioma ajeno.
Hasta ahora, GA&D se ha mostrado en estos espacios:
- 05.2022. Museo de Arte de la Universidad de Toronto. Toronto, Canadá.
- 11.2022. NADA. Bogotá, Colombia.
GA&D is a traveling exhibition, which fits in a suitcase, in a FedEx box, and responds to the need to share this collective experience in front of a new public, in a country that is not ours, in a language that is not our own.
So far, GA&D has been shown at:

- 11.2022. NADA. Bogota, Colombia.
